Tyklundgaard is located in central Jutland - more specifically 3 km south-west of Bryrup, 20 km from Silkeborg and is next door to a unique nature - Vrads with heathland, lakes and a huge forest area.

Only 3 km to Hærvejen and 3 km to 'Naturstien' (transl.: nature path), which is an abandoned railway line between Silkeborg and Horsens which is now bituminized. Both, the Naturstien and Hærvejen is absolutely great for walking, cycling and riding.

Here you find peace and quietness very close to nature and wild game.

Cozy and rural surroundings.

The farm is run as an organic part-time farm with 32 acres of land, with plant breeding, forest, meat cattle and Icelandic horses.

The farmhouse at Tyklundgaard was originally from 1876, but was demolished in 1999 and a new house in the so called "Skagensstil" was built with view towards fields, forests and a lovely lake.

You will have access to the garden with terrace, garden furniture and barbecue.

Accommodation

On the 1st floor of the wooden extension building you will find the following:

2 double rooms, 1 family room for up to 4 people, a kitchen in a shared living room with access to large balcony, wireless internet. TV in all rooms as well as a large shared bathroom.
This whole area can also be rented as a holiday apartment.

There is also the possibility of a camp site with access to shower, toilet and kitchen.
